There is always an unexpected resource for Genealogists. I recently found some New York Marriages in the surviving issues of an old magazine, The New York Weekly Magazine published in 1796, and wish to share them with you. Hope that it helps somebody out there.

On Wednesday evening last, by the Rev. Mr. Phebus, Mr. Thomas Seaman, to Miss Elizabeth Lowrey, both of this city.
